May 18th - 20th, 2017 - Split, Croatia

8th Congress of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society and Joint Meeting with the Italian Society of Neurosurgery (SiNch)

On behalf of the Boards of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society and the Italian Society of Neurosurgery, as well as the Organizing Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the 8th Congress of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society and Joint Meeting with the Italian Society of Neurosurgery, to be held between May 18th – 20th 2017, in Split, Croatia.

The Congress of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society, the most important neurosurgical event in Croatia, will once again bring together prominent Croatian and European neurosurgeons, as well as distinguished guests and speakers from all over the world aiming to share scientific knowledge and good clinical practices through lectures, discussions and e-posters. The 8th Congress of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society is jointly organized with the Italian Society of Neurosurgery with the scope of further strengthening the cordial and friendly relations among our Societies and individual neurosurgeons, and also contribute to the development of scientific partnerships between our countries.

The scientific program of our Joint meeting includes invited plenary lectures, oral presentations, thematic sessions called Meet the Experts and for the first time in the history of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society’s congresses, a pre-congress event, organized under the auspices of the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine.

We are proud and delighted to host the 8th Congress of the Croatian Neurosurgical Society and Joint Meeting with the Italian Society of Neurosurgery in the city of Split, the largest city of the beautiful region of Dalmatia. Split is ideal for assembling the neurosurgical communities of Croatia and Italy due to its cultural, geographic, transportation, and accommodation features. Its historical background and cultural heritage, as well as natural beauties of its surroundings will remind us once more that the Adriatic Sea is not a division, but a bond among our countries.

We invite you to take an active part in the scientific program of this remarkable Congress, but also to fully enjoy the social activities that we have in preparation for you.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Split.
